THE BARN is the result of love for my hobbies. I enjoy floral
design and painting, and I'm fortunate to be surrounded by others who also
love their hobbies. My niece, Suzanne, is a very talented painter
and her husband hand-carves wood. Together they are responsible for
many of the treasures you will discover in THE BARN. Other
friends and family members contribute the results of their hobbies too, so
there is a lot of love and craftsmanship apparent in our large assortment
of unique country gifts. As with many old
barns, you hear some hit or miss engines or an occasional whistle blowing;
those sound-effects are compliments of Bob.
THE BARN is open from late summer until
mid-December every year, allowing us the remainder of the year to put our
creative hobbies to work, designing many new crafts for the next opening.
We welcome special orders too! If you need
a floral design for your home or office........or hand-painted furniture,
windows, etc., give us your specifications and we'll design to fit your
needs.
We have been blessed with so much and the annual
re-opening of THE BARN adds to our blessings by allowing us to meet new
friends, neighbors and tourists.
